Slackware 9.0 Packages

Read everything here carefully! To run Gnucash you'll also need to install the following packages, which you'll find on this page:

• g-wrap
• openHBCI
• SLIB

The following two packages are located in slackware/l on your Slackware 9.0 CD. Make sure these are also installed (hint: ls /var/log/packages | grep glib).

• glib-1.2.10-i386-2.tgz
• gtk+-1.2.10-i386-3.tgz

Because Gnucash is still a Gnome 1.4 application and Slackware 9.0 comes with Gnome 2.x you also need some older Slackware 8.1 packages. The libxml package is located in the slackware/l directory on your Slackware 8.1 CD:

• libxml-1.8.17-i386-1.tgz

The other packages are located in slackware/gnome on your Slackware 8.1 CD.

• imlib-1.9.14-i386-1.tgz
• gnome-libs-1.4.1.7-i386-1.tgz
• gnome-print-0.36-i386-1.tgz
• gal-0.19.2-i386-1.tgz
• libglade-0.17-i386-1.tgz
• gtkhtml-1.0.2-i386-1.tgz
• libghttp-1.0.9-i386-1.tgz
• oaf-0.6.10-i386-1.tgz
• guppi-0.40.3-i386-1.tgz
• bonobo-1.0.20-i386-1.tgz

If you don't own a Slackware 8.1 CD, you can get these packages on one of the Slackware mirrors.
