The following two packages are located in slackware/l on your Slackware 9.1 CD. Make sure these are also installed (hint: ls /var/log/packages | grep glib).

Because Gnucash is still a Gnome 1.4 application and Slackware 9.1 comes with Gnome 2.4 you also need some older Slackware 8.1 packages. The libxml package is located in the slackware/l directory on your Slackware 8.1 CD:

The other packages are located in slackware/gnome on your Slackware 8.1 CD.

If you don't own a Slackware 8.1 CD, you can get these packages on one of the Slackware mirrors.
